The Indoor Gardener's Space SolutionJul 25, 2010 Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/R6HQZ6BWOCKST I love this plant stand. Notice in the video, the brackets I mention are not shown in the still pictures provided at the top of the product page. I don't know why that is, but you will definitely need to install the brackets. I only have four orchids on it right now, but can put six on it. If you have any keikis you'd like to share, let me know :)
The package does not include a picture of the item, but does include line drawings posing as assembly instructions. Someone went to great lengths to demonstrate the little bitty Phillips screws on the stand, but didn't bother including all the shelves - I could only make out five. I reckon anyone who could decipher the instructions wouldn't need them anyway. The little bitty screws are pre-installed. You may need to adjust them. I only needed to adjust a couple. Anyway, the instructions are useless, but a little thought and patience are all you really need to assemble it.
I searched the B&M stores locally and couldn't find anything like this. The plant stands had only two or three shelves and were ridiculously expensive. The garden centers didn't have anything like this, either. I don't know what store would carry them, so if you're looking for something like this, go ahead and click "Add to Cart" and save yourself some hassle.
Poor QualityJul 13, 2010 After finally figuring out how to assemble the stand, it was very unstable and rickety. The shelves wouldn't stay flat and the stand itself was wobbly. I ended up just throwing it away. The hassle for returning it wasnt even worth what I paid for it. It is definate that I will have to pay more for $20 for a sturdy plant stand.
Beautiful but a headache to assembleJul 07, 2010 The plant stand is beautiful but the instructions (if you would call it that)is only a three part drawing. The drawing is not really helpful since nothing is labeled. I had to go back to amazon and look at the picture of the plant stand andc use it as a guide. I still love it with all the headache and it was a good price.
SatisfactoryMay 25, 2010 This is a great plant stand for the price. Directions are very confusing, be prepared to spend some time on assembly.
ivy plant standApr 22, 2010 The plant stand is good for the price, tough to put together, fairly stable once in place... if need to move once assembled, be care, tends to come apart in places! Again, good item for under $20.
