These are a resin bookends, and are too light to support to many books. They would be better if they were filled with something like sand to make them a couple of pounds heavier.

These things are the worst bookends of all time, they are made out of hollow plastic, not "weathered bronze," and they only weigh about a pound a piece, not anywhere near enough to hold up books. Do not waste your money on these, go buy a better made product.

These "bookends" wouldn't hold up a piece of a paper. Ok, well they would hold up a piece of paper but not much else. They weigh next to nothing. They certainly are not worth the $25.
